December 8th
Columbia City Food Drive benefiting the Asian
Counseling and Referral Services features a performance
by electric violinist Geoffrey Castle, the youth
theater production, “It’s Not For Me”,
and a visit from Frosty the Snowman!
Everyone
is invited to bring non-perishable food items
between 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. ACRS encourages the community to
bring down “comfort” foods for the
Asian community like rice, ramen, tofu, soy milk, canned fish,
and soy sauce. Because many young families also rely on
the ACRS food bank, donations of diapers, baby
food and baby formula are also welcome.

the Snowman will be taking pictures with kids starting
at 11:00 am. Electric Violinist Geoffrey Castle
performs at 11:30 am. “It’s Not For Me”,
the youth theater production, will begin at noon.

MUSICA Entertainment
is proud to present events that focus on literacy,
health, education and safety of children birth through 8.
Several studies show that music helps focus attention and provides
a motivating environment for learning. When Children develop
musical skills and understanding, they are developing basic
cognitive, social and motor skills necessary for success throughout
the educational process. As young children grow and develop,
music continues as a basic medium, not only of communication,
but of self expression as well. Music also expands memory and
assists in developing crucial language skills.
Through all of our
youth events we reinforce the role of parents as their child's
first and most important teachers.
MUSICA Entertainment,
LLC is committed to:
* Supplementing
public & community based education and career development
programs
* Adding excitement to education encouraging children that learning
is fun!
* Giving children from the local community a place to display
their talents in the performing arts
* Providing a relaxed, safe, and fun environment for parents
and children to interact through music.
