a fun, educational children’s theatre production
performed by the Langston Hughes performing arts youth
theatre group that teaches everyone about the joys of
giving!

Street Center Toy Drive
- Elves,
face painting and balloons
Toy
Drive: Please bring down a new unwrapped toy. All toys will
be donated to the Atlantic Street Centers Holiday Toy Store
benefiting low-income families in King County

Drive: Everyone is encouraged to bring down a non-perishable
food item, in particular baby food and diapers. All food
items and baby care items will be donated to the Asian Referral
and Counseling Service Food Bank

Michael
Powers
- Guitarist, Composer, Recording Artist
Michael involves parents in his children’s music presentation,
and there will be participation from all involved. Through
Michael’s performance, spatial relationships are strengthened,
and literacy in music will be elevated. Michael plays songs
they know (like Twinkle Twinkle), then plays them in a variety
of different styles so they can tell the difference. They
will also learn about and participate in scat singing.
Lenard
Jones
– Drummer, Composer Recording Artist
Lenard
teaches kids about the importance of rhythm and timing.
Lenard will engage the entire audience in counting and keeping
time while he explains how important math is in the process.
Kids of all ages will thrilled by his use of drumming techniques
as he relates them to developing a love for learning about
numbers and timing.
Coat and Blanket
Drive : All guests are encouraged to
bring down new or gently used coats and blankets for kids
birth to 8 years old. All coats and Blankets will be donated
to the Union Gospel Missions Women and Children’s Homeless
Shelter
