This year's MUSICA FESTIVAL theme is a "Call to Conscience." This
message is a call to remember our membership in a global community and raise
awareness to inhumanity and injustice through music.
The MUSICA Festival grew from a vision to promote positive music community,
private business and City Government relationships. The MUSICA Festival acts
in part as a vehicle to increase visibility and public awareness of Seattle's
music community. It creates the opportunity for collaboration between civic
organizations, businesses, and residents to build relationships, develop a
sense of unity within the music community, support community non-profit organizations
as well as local artists and performers while providing top notch national
entertainment to our communities FREE of charge!
