Musica Festival 2005
The Fourth Annual City of Seattle Mayor's Award for Excellence in Hip-Hop kicked off the first day of the MUSICA Festival. MUSICA Festival 2005 featured artists and music industry professionals from all over the globe from New York to London. The Fourth Annual City of Seattle Mayor’s Award for Excellence in Hip Hop acknowledged and honored innovative performance, community service, and entrepreneurial achievement by locally based members of the Hip Hop community whose work has had significant impact in Seattle.
This years recipients were Sir Mix-a-lot, Melissa Noelle Green, and the volunteer staff of Mercer Island High nonprofit hip hop radio station X104.5.
Musica Festival 2005 is finally here! You don't want to miss this incredible event! It is FREE and will be held at the Seattle Center during July 15th, 16th and 17th. The Festival will be featuring the pop sensation band called Reed, Tupac Shakur's Outlawz, and London's very own sultry singer Traedonya.
